Description
Elvis Presley 78rpm shellac 10" released in 1956 on the 'His Master's Voice' label (IP1223)). A side is 'Rip It Up' B side is "Baby Let's Play House". Label states 'Pressed in Ireland'. My record player doesn't play 78's so I haven't listened to this but the condition seems very good - vinyl has the odd smudge and mark but nothing that should impair listening enjoyment. Photos show both sides of record. Comes in an original HMV sleeve.
A Note on Packing:
78 rpm shellac records are brittle and very fragile. This record will be protected firstly with cardboard layers; then two vinyl records will be placed on each side and bubblewrap will be wrapped around the layers. These will then be placed in a cardboard box with shredded paper forming a thick protective layer within the box. 'Fragile' stickers will be placed on the box. I've included a photograph above to illustrate the packing process and the care taken to ensure this important cultural artefact arrives safely.
