It is with great pain and sorrow that I am selling this mega rare Elvis LP as they are extremely hard to find in this condition, we all know that nearly all copies that turn up have a major tear or large piece missing from the sleeve and in some of the worst cases both, the Vinyl is usually well played with numerous scratches and dull with many noticeable light hairlines and sound quality often severely affected

I would like to grade my copy as excellent (for it's age) most buyers would argue and grade VG to achieve a cheaper price. I will describe the item with as much detail as possible which may make it sound worse than it is, but hey, lets not forget what we are talking about here

Firstly there are NO rips/tears, pieces missing or creasing to the sleeve, which is excellent news already, but it is by no means perfect either, the front does have two small pieces of laminate missing to the opening edge and one laminate crack to the top end, this laminate crack is as described, a crack in the laminate which has caused moisture to darken the yellow colour underneath, the crack does not penetrate the card through to the inside, there is also three much smaller ones emanating from the spine edge. The rear has about five small laminate cracks and again these do not penetrate the card underneath. The edges have suffered the most with some slight edge wear and in some places small patches of laminate and the Glossy top paper are missing but again do not penetrate through to the inside. does sound a bit harsh but really is not as bad as it sounds

The vinyl is in excellent- condition showing one just noticeable hairline to side two and some very fine hairline paper cuts that are more noticeable under a very strong light, in normal light looks excellent+. The labels are in excellent+ condition and show evidence which suggests 8 - 10 plays only

I have shown this to some of my serious Elvis collector friends and all are envious and grade as excellent but again bear in mind that most copies are seriously damaged

The current Record Collector value is £750.00 mint, but I saw a NM copy sell for £900.00+ just over two years ago, Record Collector's Grading Ready Reckoner puts a value of around £375.00 in VG so I have set a reserve which I believe is very fair and under the £375.00 valuation, I could do with the cash, as we all could in these financial times, but i aint bothered if it does not reach the reserve, i'd rather keep it before letting it go for peanuts

I am an Elvis fan and have had this record for about five years (the best of three copies I have had) and will be genuenly sad to see it go, so please let it go to a good home and not a dealer looking for a profit.

Postage will be 'signed for' any where in the world so please don't ask for Standard 1st class and proof of postage to knock postage down
