Description

RARE ELVIS LPs. A HUGE SELECTION WITH MULTIPLE COPIES!

We have had a lot of success recently selling some incredibly rare records on eBay so we thought we would clear out the cupboard here at BEANOS and give you real ELVIS fans a chance to buy a copy or two of some of The King’s rarest records. Most of these are scarce British issues but we have thrown in a few others from around the world.

You will see that we are offering several copies of some titles. This is because they are all in different conditions so look carefully at the pictures and descriptions before you make your bids. This is a real chance to pick up a bargain as some are starting at just £1.

To make your comparison easier we have listed them all in the same format so, if you go to the top of this page and click on to “view seller’s other items”, you will be able to see them all. I would recommend you sit comfortably with a nice cup of tea and take your time to make a choice by reading the notes I have written, then, if you fancy having a bid, you can simply put in your offer and keep your fingers crossed! I am an Elvis fan as well I and I have had great fun putting this listing together, I do not think there has ever been another like this on eBay with all these to chose from. Enjoy reading and, get bidding!

Here we go with this item:

ARTIST: Elvis Presley

TITLE: "The Best of Elvis" 10" LP

LABEL: HMV

RECORD NUMBER: DLP 1159

DATE OF ISSUE: 1957

CONDITION OF RECORD A-SIDE: Very shiny just light surface scratches

CONDITION OF RECORD B-SIDE: Same as A-side, very shiny, just light surface scratches

CONDITION OF LABEL A-SIDE: Un-written very clean, shiny gold writing

CONDITION OF LABEL B-SIDE: A little dirt around spindle hole but all intact and otherwise, very clean.

CONDITION OF COVER FRONT: 1cm tear top right otherwise excellent. None of the usual creasing and tears on the opening edge. Very clean and would be bright. This is a very nice cover.

CONDITION OF COVER BACK: Silghtest of creasing to right hand edge but extremely clean and intact

SOUND QUALITY SIDE 1: Very slight hiss between tracks 1 / 2 and 3 but clear and loud!

SOUND QUALITY SIDE 2: A few light clicks but does not spoil it at all.

INNER COVER: original HMV.

ESTIMATED SELLING PRICE IF IN “MINT” CONDITION: £500

OTHER HELPFUL REMARKS! : This is a very nice copy that would look great in any Elvis collection. These are notoriously fragile and the covers are often damaged so when we see good condition ones like this (and some of the other better ones we are showing in our other items) we have to put a more realistic , but reasonable, reserve on them. These are becoming harder and harder to find as are any of his HMV releases, after all, they are 50 years old!

Do look at the pictures to help you decide which Elvis item to buy and, as we said before, go to the top right of this page, click on to the tab that says “view seller’s other items” and you will be able to look at them all in their awesome glory!

As with other rare records I am listing I would like to tell you a little about me to give you confidence in bidding and to assure you that these are absolutely genuine items. I am the managing director of the world famous BEANOS RECORDS and we have had our shops in South London for over 30 years. I write about rare records, appear on TV and Radio and constantly in the National Press. It is BEANOS LIMITED that are selling this most desirable item but I want to be your contact for any queries and, also, to take away the faceless negotiation that an important international auction can sometimes have. I can tell you everything you need to know about the record if you email me with any questions and, you are welcome to visit our shop and view the actual item (by prior appointment) with myself. I have to point out that most of the records I offer on eBay are also on sale in my shop and I might have to end an auction early if I have another buyer.
