A SELDOM SEEN ELVIS COLLECTABLE 78rpm RECORD FROM 1955. WHEN RCA BOUGHT THE RIGHTS TO RECORD ELVIS FROM SUN RECORDS IN 1956, THEY IMMEDIATLET RE-RELEASED THE ONLY FIVE 78'S THAT ELVIS EVER MADE ON THE SUN LABEL, AND THIS WAS ONE OF THEM. IT IS ON THE CANADIAN RCA VICTOR LABEL # 20-6381 (SUN # 210) SONGS ARE: GOOD ROCKIN' TONIGHT & I DON'T CARE IF THE SUN DON'T SHINE. THIS 78 SHOWS SOME SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES AND PLAYS WITH A LITTLE BACKGROUND NOISE, BUT THAT GREAT ELVIS SOUND IS STILL LOUD, AND THERE IS SHINE AND GLOSS. AN EXCELLENT ADDITION AND IT WILL PLAY GREAT IN THAT JUKE BOX. THIS ONE GRADES AS A VG AT LEAST (BUT PLAYS BETTER). These Collectable 78's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce. This 78 is from the large collection of Rock & Roll and R&B 78's that I have in my personal collection, and it would pay to mark this site as one of your favorites as there will be plenty more to come.
