A GREAT COLLECTOR'S ITEM! WITH SUPERB LABELS!
THIS IS A GREAT RECORD FOR ELVIS COLLECTORS AND ROCK'N'ROLL. AN ORIGINAL COPY OF SUN 217 'BABY LET'S PLAY HOUSE/ I'M LEFT YOU'RE RIGHT SHE'S GONE' BY ELVIS PRESLEY. THIS COPY WAS PRESSED IN MEMPHIS AND ISSUED IN 1955, THE FOURTH RELEASE BY A NEW SINGER CALLED ELVIS PRESLEY.
The record has light wear and a few surface scuffs on both sides through playing over the 50 years but retains a nice sheen. It plays very clearly with the Sun 'hiss' very subdued which makes for great listening with just a little background noise, the sound depends on the stylus as these 45s were crudely pressed 50 years ago without the modern stylus in mind! This is a copy that plays really nicely.
The labels are what makes this 45 stand out. They are fresh with very little wear, no writing, no tears, no stickers, just see the scans. The labels on this copy would make for a nice display. Copies with both labels fresh and clean after 50 years are not easy to come by.
Now for the details: This 45 has the 3 'push' marks of the first 4 Elvis Sun 45s. The trail-offs u-143x-45-2 72 andu-142-45 72 with the 1cm gap before the 72 as it should be. I've held plenty of Sun 45s and this is absolutely right. You might be able to see the push marks on the pics although the labels have so little wear they are not too clear.
