AN ORIGINAL COPY OF THE ROCKABILLY CLASSIC SUN 223 'MYSTERY TRAIN/ I FORGOT TO REMEMBER TO FORGET' BY ELVIS PRESLEY. THIS COPY WAS ISSUED IN 1955, THE FIFTH AND FINAL SUN RELEASE BY A NEW SINGER CALLED ELVIS PRESLEY.

The record has a strong shine with just a few light scratches which do not affect play. It does not have the maze of light scratches which tend to dull the surface on many Sun 45s. It plays very nicely from start to end of both sides, no ticks, skips, jumps etc, with a very sensitive light needle and with very little background noise and a very clear strong sound.

The labels have very little ring wear and a notch presumably from the old metal adaptors, but no tears, no writing or discolouration and no stickers. You can see this on the scans. Overall a copy of this historic 45 with a particularly nice playing surface.

This 45 has the trail-offs 45.u-156x 20 and 45. u-157x 20 with the 1cm gap before the 20 as it should be for Mystery Train. I've held plenty of Sun 45s and this is absolutely right. Mystery Train was the fifth and final Elvis Sun issue and did not have the push marks notable on the first four releases.
