Description
Up for auction is a scarce original 45 rpm vinyl record -
ELVIS PRESLEY - SUN 210 "I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine" / "Good Rockin' Tonight"
Original 1954 US Pressing --- The second commercial release from Elvis, on the legendary Sun label out of Memphis, Tn.
Matrix:
Side A "I Don't Care..." U-130-45 / 72 / Triangle etch / 1122
Side B: "Good Rockin' Tonight" U-131-45 / 72 / Triangle etch / 1123
Condition:
Vinyl is in VG (Very Good) visual grade condition. I would grade it at VG+ visual grade, but there is a small chip on the edge of record that has caused a hairline lamb-crack that appears on the edge of non-playing grooves. This crack is really on the edge of the playing area, but the lamb-type fracture runs out about a quarter inch from there. None of this affects the playback of the record.
The record plays decent with some mostly light surface noise. There is a bit of hiss on 'Good Rockin' Tonight', but nothing I would call too unusual.
