ELVIS PRESLEY – GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS! (LSP-2621) SCARCE TAN LABEL DEMONSTRATION ISSUE!

RECORD: FAIR with beautiful glossy surfaces! How does a record that is graded a lowly FAIR have “beautiful glossy surfaces”? Unfortunately, the record incurred some mishandling at some point in the past and as a result, there are deep scratches on Side 2, on Tracks 1 & 2 and on Side 1 to a lesser degree on Track 1 only. This is the scarce Tan label example which was pressed in small numbers from 1975 to 1976. The labels are beautiful with only a couple of light spindle marks noticed. This would be a decent example to add to a collection of Tan Label copies until that NM example comes along.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits. Tape, writing or staple holes. The gold-stamped designation, “DEMONSTRATION – NOT FOR SALE” can be seen on the back side to the upper left corner. Some spotted spine and edge wear is noticed as well as some corner tip wear and bending. The original plain white inner sleeve is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
