ELVIS PRESLEY – SELF TITLED LP – RCA L10245.
An early Australian pressing of Elvis’ first RCA LP. Very very hard to find in any condition.
TRACKS: Blue Suede Shoes / I’m Counting On You / I Got A Woman / One-Sided Love Affair / I Love You Because / Just Because / Tutti Frutti / Tryin’ To Get To You / I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry / I’ll Never Let You Go / Blue Moon.
The record is in G+ condition. Most tracks play VG to VG(+) but a couple do have more surface noise. I cranked it up to make sure it played OK and I must say I enjoyed the listen. / The cover is interesting. It seems to be a US paste on style cover with thicker cardboard than the usual Australian release. According to the info on the back it was manufactured in Australia. Probably because of this the cover is split right along the top and bottom seams. The front and back of the cover would be VG+ (a couple of small stains) but of course the splits grade it down.
It is still a hard to find item.
