ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS (INCLUDING “FOOL”) (APL1-0283) A STILL-SEALED FIRST PRESSING FROM 1973!
RECORD: MINT! This album was released in July of 1973 and was deleted from “Elvis’ Great LP Catalog” that same year (in the U.S.)! This album includes the hit single “Fool”, a song that Col. Tom Parker objected to as he felt that it degraded Elvis. Ergo, the reason why this album was deleted so quickly. If you want a Tan Label copy of this album, you must search for a Canadian pressing!
COVER: VG++ (EXC) still sealed in full original shrink wrap! Unfortunately, this is a “cut-out”, as can be seen by the saw cut to the upper right corner area. The two lower corner tips are also “bumped” beneath the shrink. The original store price sticker of $7.99/$5.99 remains fully affixed to the front. A couple of small tears in the shrink are noticed on the back side.
