ELVIS PRESLEY – 50,000,000 ELVIS PRESLEY FANS CAN’T BE WRONG – ELVIS’ GOLD RECORDS, VOL. 2 (LSP-2075) FIRST STEREO PRESSING FROM 1962
RECORD: VG+ Hollywood pressing with attractive “Dog On Top”, all Silver Print labels with the highly desirable, staggered “STEREO” at the base. The vinyl is clean and glossy and the “Stereo Orthophonic High Fidelity” remains strong and true! This record was test-played in its entirety and there were no skips or repeats detected. This album was originally released in December of 1959, strictly in Monaural. In 1962, RCA Victor perfected their method to electronically reprocess pre-1960 recordings to simulate Stereo effect. This is one of those albums. The matrix numbers end with 3S/3S.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with just minimal ring wear on both sides as well as a trial amount of wear at the corner tips. There are absolutely no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover. The original gray “RCA Victor” inner sleeve is included.
