Description
ELVIS PRESLEY- "ELVIS" RARE 1950s MEXICO LP MKL 1039 (AKA R'n'R NO.2 / LPM-1382).
This Mexican LP is very rarely seen here in the UK, nearly 70 years old it shows some obvious wear (enjoyment!). Cover is very heavy & sturdy but shows the wear, tape along the seam & writing etc highlighted. Labels shows well but side 2 has the pen marks shown. Record itself has many marks all over it, none feelable but plenty of wear.
This is one of those "Looks shot but plays hot!" type records, as this DG LP still plays through great, with depth & bass not present on all these lousy modern PD rereleases etc. Yes there's some occasional clicks & some light crackle but this record still kicks _ _ _ !
Low start price on this rare beauty reflects all of the above condition notes.
Please see my notice below regards sealed items.
BEFORE BIDDING PLEASE READ ALL NOTICES BELOW...
OVERSEAS BIDDERS...
If the GLOBAL SHIPPING price is too high, I may be able to get you a better price with ROYAL MAIL or PARCELFORCE but I can only do that up until a day before the auction ends. Whatever country you are in, if you’d like to see how those services price compare to the GLOBAL SHIPPING price, please message me, especially if you want to buy more than one item. In the last 24 hrs of the auction & after the auction ends, eBay will NOT allow me to make ANY changes to the listing & your shipping costs.
SEALED ITEMS...
Please note that all items sold as “Sealed” are sold in good faith but all companies can make production mistakes, so please note that in the very unlikely event of you opening an item & it having some kind of fault / issue / something missing, this is the fault of the manufacturer, not myself & you will need to take that issue up with the manufacturer themselves but I will gladly provide evidence that the item was Sealed / New & try & help you get that company to put the issue right.
UK COMBINED SHIPPING...
If you are in the UK & purchase more than one item from me, I will happily combine postage for you, just make me aware of your multiple purchases after the auctions have ended & I will send you a revised invoice.
eBay’s “ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME”…
Please ignore eBay’s ridiculously inaccurate “Estimated Delivery Time”, especially if you’re a UK buyer. I dispatch within 4 days (usually 2) & I use 48hr tracked at the slowest, so the very latest a UK buyer would likely receive their item, would be 8 days after purchase at the very worst.
THOUSANDS OF ITEMS TO LIST...
I am thinning out my lifetime collection of records, cds, books, vintage clothing, vintage household items, vintage car parts etc etc over the coming months (or years!). I have been collecting all things 1950s & 1960s for nearly 40 years & a lot of it has to go. I have hundreds of LPs & Eps from all corners of the globe (Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, U.K, U.S.A etc) to list over the coming year & also hundreds of FTD Records, CDs & Books etc etc. Feel free to message me with any of your wants & if I have them, I will list them on eBay for you. Please be sure to check out my “other items” for more great stuff.
