Incredibly hard to find Radio library LP.   Features 14 versions of the song ‘Blue Christmas’.  Of most interest to collectors would be the fact that ELVIS PRESLEY’s version is included along with his image on the front cover.   LP also includes interpretations by The BEACH BOYS, MERLE HAGGARD, CHET ATKINS, WILLIE NELSON, ERNEST TUBBN.   See photos for full tracklisting.  

BBC Radioplay LPs were never made available to the public.   Not available in the shops, as they say.

Superb playing condition!!!!   Record is as close to MINT as its possible for a record made in 1987 to be!    Only needed to play a couple of tracks each side because it was obvious record has hardly been played.   Highly likely record has never actually been played and wanted to keep it that way as much as possible.   Crystal clear sound, even in between tracks.  A quality pressing, as you would expect from the BBC radio library.   Stunning playback.    

As you would expect from the above description, visual condition is also MINT.   The record is pristine and it goes without saying that it looks as good as new.  

Labels are MINT.  

Sleeve graded as no worse than EX-.   Slight corner and edge wear and a couple of creases - nothing severe.    All spine text clearly readable.   NO seam splits.    NO writing.    NO tears.   NO stickers.

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
