ELVIS PRESLEY ABSOLUTELY RARE RADIO AD FOR OAKLAND CONCERT ON JUNE 3, 1956
NO RESERVE!!
I don't know if this is the original recording sent to radio stations on an audiodisc acetate to promote the upcoming Elvis concert or if there was an official RCA-label spot made from the acetate but it sounds expertly clean so either someone at the station or w/state-of-the-art audio equipment copied this to disc or more likely, this is the original spot sent to various Oakland area stations as Audiodisc did master acetates including some Beatles sides. Either way, this is the commercial radio spot w/Elvis music cut-ins recorded in 1956 & RARE AS ALL GET OUT!!
A chance to own a bit of history...probably one of the first documented radio broadcasts of an Elvis appearance.
