ELVIS PRESLEY – A TOUCH OF GOLD, VOL. I (EPA-5088) RARE MAROON LABEL COPY!


RECORD: VG with many light scuffs and non-feelable scratches. This Indianapolis pressing played through very well on both sides upon test although there was the usual general surface noise, including random “ticks” and more noticeable “crackle” on the softer track, “Don’t”. The highly coveted Maroon Labels show some moderate wear on each side and there is a filing label (“1”) affixed to the Side 1 label. This E.P. was released in April of 1959 while Elvis was serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. Unfortunately, the cover is missing, but they are more easily found than Maroon Labeled records of this title.
