Extremely RARE Elvis 78RPM - Side 1: Little Sister Side 2: Marie's the Name His Latest Flame
RCA 71.372 SOUTH AFRICA 1961
This record has a lot of hairline scratches as you can see in the picture however I have test played it and it plays through. There is some crackles and pops.
I would rate the condition as GOOD according to the Record Collectors grading system below. It is in a generic brown sleeve.
RECORD COLLECTOR’S GRADINGSYSTEM
GENERIC –Plainwhite/black sleeve or a sleeve that is not the original issued with the single.
MINT/NEW- Record itselfis in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in soundquality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet orposter are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed wouldbe classed as mint.
EXCELLENT- Record shows signsof having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality.The cover and packaging may have slight wear or creasing.
VERY GOOD - The record hasobviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in soundquality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items. Without any major defects isacceptable.
GOOD - The record has been played so much that the sound has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration…etc.
FAIR - The record is stilljust playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerablesurface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be torn, slightly stainedand/or defaced.
POOR - The record will notplay properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contentswill be badly damaged or partly missing.
