As early as 1956, Elvis began collaborating with the March of Dimes, a non-profit organization created in 1933 in response to the polio epidemic that plagued the nation. Elvis contributed to the mission of the March of Dimes in various ways, including appearing in ads, meeting with the March of Dimes youth, visiting hospitalized children, donating his time and trunk loads of stuffed animals and more. Offered is an oversized 16-inch LP record with label “1957 March of Dimes Galaxy of Stars”—Elvis sings Love me tender!!! Record has nice clean labels and vinyl is high gloss with minor scratches and scuffs, being 61 years old this record is truly a beautiful piece of history!! and as a Bonus is included an original 1957 March of dimes brochure with dime display holder!!!
