Description

"THE SOUND OF LEADERSHIP"

  • "Souvenir of the Miami Meeting"
  • RCA Victor Box SPD-19
  • This eight EP set was issued to RCA Victor distributors at their 1956 convention in Miami, Florida.

The records sometimes turn up, but it is extremely rare to find the original and complete set:

  • Eight gray label RCA EP's
  • Four page printed insert "The Sound of Leadership",lists the 32 "million sellers" on the EP's.
  • Printed insert explaining why the records are not in sleeves - "the raised label ...fully protects any harmful contact between the grooved surfaces"
  • Eight paper inserts (one between each EP) advertising RCA All-Time Best Sellers.
  • Original souvenir box with attached business card.

Each EP has four songs, they are in chronological order from Side One,1907 Enrico Caruso to Side16, Elvis Presley "Heartbreak Hotel"(1956).

The box and paper inserts have a bit of wear,the records are in excellent condition. This set lists in various price guides at $2000+.
