ELVIS PRESLEY "LOVE ME TENDER" EPs
This is an amazing chance for you Traders, Dealers and Collectors to make some money!
BEANOS RECORDS have been trading for over thirty years in old and rare records and the time has now come to clear out our warehouse. You may be wondering why we are offering something that has never been seen on EbAY before, namely, multiple copies of rare records (see our other lots) when we would normally be selling these individually.
The simple reason is that we still have plenty left, (enough to last us for a long time!) and most of these are in excellent condition which we will continue to keep selling through the shop. This multiple 'Traders Special' is just a way of getting rid of excess stock. For a comparison, we have on offer right now in BEANOS shop in South London a 'near mint' copy of this HMV EP for £400 and we are confident at getting this price.
Now to this actual lot:

This auction is for ten copies of Elvis's first UK EP, issued on the legendary HMV (His Masters Voice) label in England in 1957.
Yes, they are FIFTY YEARS OLD!
First of all, if you look at the pictures you will see that the respected book "The Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide 2008" indicates a value of £150 upwards for copies of these! This is no exageration as all the issues on the HMV label (2 LPs, 2 EPs and a handful of singles) represent his earliest work and they would have sold so few that they are rarely seen at all anymore.
The copies we are selling are not in 'mint'condition (we are keeping these!) but they are not in 'poor' condition either. To help you verify this, I have taken the time to photograph each of the EPs so you can see for yourself that the covers and records are in very good shape.
Do not be fooled into thinking that, since we have ten on offer they are common, many dealers I know only see one every couple of years and some have never seen one at all! As I said earlier, we have been dealing for so long we have aquired these lesser condition copies over a long, long time.
Every one on offer is on the original UK HMV label, made by the EMI company in the 1950s. They all have the correct picture covers and they are all on the correct issue label with the unique catalogue number 7EG 8119. (For the truly devoted, I can assure you that the matrix numbers are G2 WH-7523 showing them to be absolutely genuine originals).
I am going on a bit with the description and the Dealers and Traders that will be looking at this lot will know exactly what they are and how truly valuable they are and bid accordingly. However, I want the non-professional 'Collector' to have a chance also. If anyone does need further clarification on this amazing collection they can email me and I will answer all queries.
I am starting this auction with a low starting price which in no way reflects the true value of these records, it is simply somewhere to begin the bidding. I am also offering them at a very realistic 'buy it now' price. Someone is going to do the maths and see that there is a lot of money to be made here.
AsI said before, this is a great chance for Traders and Dealers to top up their stock of Elvis Presley records and for collectors of The King to use these to trade for other items.
Original rare Elvis records are money in the bank! (actually better than money in the bank, twenty years ago these were only fetching £50 each maximum, a 300% increase is better than any bank would have given you!)
