     Elvis had done a couple dozen movies - and it was only 1967.  He was spending so much time on the movie lot, that there wasn't enough studio time to assemble a full soundtrack LP, so six tracks on an EP would have to suffice.
     Very few of his EPs were issued as promo copies and they're all pretty rare.
