Description
Offering is original owner’s 1958 RCA Victor Elvis Presley Extended Play, 45 rpm record, “Elvis Sails – The Press Interviews Elvis”, 45 EP EPA-4325, 1st Rockaway Pressing., Release Date 11/18/1958. Specific descriptions are as follows:
· TRACKLIST
Side 1: Press Interview With Elvis (At Brooklyn Army Terminal, September 22, 1958)
Side 2: Elvis Presley’s Newsreel Interview / Pat Hernon Interviews Elvis in the Library of the U.S.S. Randall At Sailing
· JACKET / PICTURE SLEEVE COVER – contains the factory-issued, small hole, top center, its purpose being to hang the 1959 calendar.
(A) FRONT COVER: CONDITION - EX / NM. It has retained its original B&W nice glossy / sheen finish. There are no markings, stains, fading or discoloration. The spine and three (3) other edges/seams are in excellent condition with no splits, tears, creases, warping or other imperfections.
(B) BACK COVER: CONDITION - EX / NM. It has retained 100% of its original rich colors with a nice glossy / sheen finish. There are no stains, fading, age toning, yellowing or discoloration. There is one (1) blue ink owner’s name marking at top.
· VINYL RECORD
CONDITION: EXCELLENT. Seldom played, the vinyl record’s playing surfaces are very clean and bright. The vinyl has a rich, attractive gloss. There are no hairline / non-feelable surface marks on both sides of the record. There are no feelable scratches or scruff marks. The vintage black and silver RCA logo labels (dog “Nipper” on top) are in VG+ condition with no spindle wear, no stains, scratches or discolorations.
· Specific Identifiers (research from discogs.com & elvisrecords.com):
(1) RCA Black & Silver label, with dog on top; catalog number and matrix number on left side; Side Numbers on right side; there is no “New Orthophonic High Fidelity” statement on either side; Interview times are shown on bottom of the labels.

Purchased at The House of Music, New Rochelle, NY. Always stored upright, kept in dry, non-smoking homes.
