ELVIS COSTELLO – 4 TRACKS FROM THE FORTHCOMING ALBUM “TRUST” – WHITE LABEL PROMO ONLY - f-beat records XXLP 11 (British 45 RPM Stereo EP). Disc is Near Mint Plus to Mint Minus; Labels are Near Mint Plus; Sleeve is VG++ (surface wear).
Very unusual British Promo EP with almost blank labels (you can see where print was applied but did not register – very faint impression). This EP was issued to promote Elvis’ 1981 LP Trust. Titles are: You’ll Never Be A Man; Pretty Words; From A Whisper To A Scream; and New Lace Sleeves. As with all 33 rpm 12 inch EP discs, groove spread is wider, thus sonic imaging and detail are greater than on LP or CD. Etchings in the runoff say “Another Elvis Sooper Scoop,” “A Porky Prime Cut,” and on the flip side “A Much Bigger Porky Prime Cut.” Elvis Costello, what a card!
All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer. ALL DISCS ARE PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED ON A VPI RECORD CLEANING MACHINE. Discs are packaged separately from LP sleeve to protect against seam splitting. LP jackets are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and albums are shipped in LP-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap.
I grade conservatively and by Goldmine standards.
