Description
This is a double record set from 1956 by Elvis Presly, from my personal collection. I'm not exactly sure, but I think this is a promo set? I say that because this pair of EP's have double numbers. The one record is numbered EPA-1254 plus it has the number547-0793, and it has the side numbers (1) and side number (4). The other record is numbered EPB-1254 plus it has the number 547-0794, and the record sides are number (2) and number (4). I have a 1999 Jerry Osborne record guide, and it reads that the double numbered record set are promotional records. so these must be the promotional records. The cover is a gatefold cover numbered EPB-1254 titled ELVIS PRESLEY. The back cover has Ads for other EP's other then Elvis, plus it list the song titles for these 2 records, which are: "Blue Suede Shoes" - I'm Counting On You" - "I Got A Woman" - "One Sided Love Affair" - "Tutti Frutti" - Tryin To Get To You" - I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry" and "I'll Never Let You Go". There are no open seams on the cover, there is no unwanted writing or no stickers on it. It has slight ring wearfront and back, none on the inside. I no longer have a player for records, so I will do a visual grade only of the records, but I will say this. I have'nt played these records for around 20 years or so, but even then these records played clear, and clean on all 4 sides, so I am grading them as Good, and the same for the cover. The records of course will need a cleaning, and a cleaning should always be done with any records before playing them. The labels have no tears or unwanted writing or stickers. A little label wear on the record labels, but again not bad at all, all the print is easily readable and clear. My pictures are blurry and are not the best, so I guess I'm not a photographer either. These will both be nice clear playing records. I will sandwich the set between 1/2 styrophome inside my package for mailing media, and it you want them mailed priority, please let me know.
