THEY DON't make 'em like this anymore. Following hot on the heels of the impressive 'Pictures At An Exhibition' this was the bands first studio excursion since the brilliant 'Tarkus' and it did not disapoint - far from it! The bands penchant for wide screen epic prog rocking was further consolidated and enhanced by the material recorded here kicking off with the wonderfully brazen 'The Endless Enigma Part One & Two' taking up most of side one and leaving no musical stone unturned in a quest to impress and dazzle. The band are working as a tight unit throughout and individual dexterity is limited to what is best for the song rather than the individual. Thus the emphasis is on collective expression and not on extravagant soloing.

'Trilogy' the title track is a sonic dazzler with a teriffically intense finale before giving way to the super heavy riffage of 'Living Sin', one of the bands most impressive 'short' tracks in their entire cannon.

One of the best ELP albums and a superb copy.

Vinyl: Superb clean and shiny condition. Very little signs of use. Displays spindle marks on labels and numerous tiny scuffs only visible under a bright light - primarilly due to sliding in and out of the inner sleeve. Grades as MINT-!

Cover: Again, no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gatefold cover - retains full printers bloom. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, straight and completely uncrushed. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 43 years after release. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
