Description
Eloy is one of Germany’s most internationally successful prog rock bands. They are famous for their spacey prog rock excursions, ala Pink Floyd, and for Frank Bornemann’s voice, which sometimes gets compared to that of Ian Anderson’s. One reviewer for GEPR put it this way: “Bornemann and company have long been considered the masters of modern space rock, picking up where Pink Floyd left off before they turned gloom and doom depression. Eloy's sound soars skyward, propelled by heavy guitar passages, cosmic synthesizer excursions, treated vocals and exotic special effects.” This style was refined perfectly starting with the group’s Power and the Passion. Colours was released in Germany on Harvest/EMI Electrola in 1980, this comes in a gatefold cover. The cover is in VG and the record is in Ex+++ condition, except for a bit of noise at the very end of side one. (For more info on my grading system, click on the “me” icon above.) Payment and Shipping Information
In the U.S., postage would be about $4.77 for one LP sent by Media Mail. Package insured upon request. Winners outside of the U.S. will be notified of postal fees, but an approximate cost for one LP to many countries is $16.20 by airmail (but Canada and Mexico will be less than this for most single LP packages). Yes, I do combine shipping so if you bid on and win more than one item, you WILL save on postage! Note: I do not gouge on postage and packaging costs.
