Description
" MISCHA ELMAN - KREISLER FAVOURITES ", Philips (SAL 3423) Stereo, 1961.
Very rare '61 Philips LP featuring Elman accompanied by Joseph Seiger performing pieces by Kreisler.
English issue and pressing.
Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT (No scratches, no groove damage, just the very lightest of spindle trails, no excessive surface noise, etc. Under a bright grading lamp I can make out a few faint paper scuffs just visible on the vinyl's surface - although none of these correspond directly to any audible defects. On playback, there is some very faint surface noise just audibile during the silent run-in before the beginning of the tracks and occasionally during the silneces between tracks. However, once the music starts, it plays perfectly - free from interuption from distortion, clicks, pops, surface noise, etc.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = V.G.+ (Not destroyed... no rips, tears, defacing massive creases, etc. But I have to mark it down for some very small creases and a bit of light damage to the top corners of the sleeve - see photos for further clarification)
NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I have made in the past.
ANY QUESTIONS? PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!
HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!
