ELECTRIC AND ACOUSTIC SOUND*MI GENERACIÓN "MAGGIE / MELTING POT / AMERICAN WOMAN / ALL RIGHT NOW / LODY / YOU'VE GOT AFRIEND / WILD WORLD / SCARBOROUGH FAIR / OUR HOUSE / FIRE AND RAIN / THE BOXER" 1972 SPANISH ORLADOR 53439 LP. one of the rarest records from the Spanish 70's rock scene. This LP is listed in Hans Pokora's 4001 RECORD COLLECTOR DREAMS and valued with 5 rounds, almost the highest rarity, with an estimated market price of between 585 euros and 1000 euros if in Mint condition. This LP was recorded somehow like a library or exploitation project. They hired the legendary progressive pop band from Barcelona Mi Generación and got them to record some hits of the era. The album was sold exclusively to the subscriptors of the Círculo de Lectores, an association of book readers who did exclusive editions of both books and records for their subscriptors only. It was recorded on the legendary GEMA Studio 1, where the most of the catalan psych and prog output was recorded. Producer was Miguel Casas, the same as on other classic catalan bands like Evolution and others. It has one "electric" side, rockier and progressive, and an "acoustic side", described by Pokora as "soft pop". VG+/EX. wobc.
