Description

A couple of years ago, in 2017, British rockers Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) celebrated the 40th anniversary of their multi platinum selling album 'Out of the Blue'. This record gave us the hits "Mr. Blue Sky", "Turn to Stone", and "Sweet Talking Woman", among others. The artwork is awesome! Created by Shusei Nagaoka through the Kosh company, it's really colorful and very futuristic. Only a few other bands used the spaceship motif, with Boston and Parliment/Funkadelic coming to mind.

'Out of the Blue' got the special treatment when it turned 40, and a nice TWO picture disc LP record set was released. For your consideration today, we have a copy of that awesome picture disc release! It is TWO heavy vinyl picture discs. It feels like 180 gram, though it doesn't say that anywhere on the packaging. Each record has a different pic, front and back. It comes in a special, clear gatefold plastic jacket. It also has a strip with song titles. This release came with a digital download card, so you can download a copy of the album while displaying your picture discs! Grab this ELO memorabilia, while you still can!
