Mr. Blue Sky: The Very Best of Electric Light Orchestra contains songs by E.L.O. re-recorded by Jeff Lynne in 2012. Lynne felt that, with his experience as record producer, he could now record the songs better. After listening to Mr. Blue Sky, the first to be re-recorded, he decided he liked it better and, after a suggestion from his manager, began re-recording more E.L.O. songs until he produced a full album which includes "Evil Woman", "Strange Magic", and "Telephone Line".
