THE ELDAROS MEGA RARE DOO WOP "PLEASE SURRENDER/ ROCK A BOCK" VESTA 1ST PRESS 1958 NM
Original 1958 Doo Wop release by Ray Parratore and the Rhythm Rockaways on the Syracuse, N.Y. VESTA label. In shiny "NM" condition, this rare first pressing was acquired many years ago and is from my personal collection.
The dead wax numbers are: RN #14-1 and RN #14-2. These numbers are authenticated in "Fosman's First Edition by Joseph Pecoraro", Page 73. This book identifies repro/bootleg and original 45 rpm records by their dead wax numbers.
Over the years I have observed collector's buying copies of repro/bootleg 45's without realizing they were not original copies. The repro record dead wax numbers are V-RN-14 2 and V-RN-14 1, also on page 73 of the Pecoraro book. So be careful when buying this valuable record.
