Description

TITLE :    EDEN - form follows function  EP 7"   (plays at 33)
LABEL / CAT # :      DEN RECORDS  /  3.DEN
COUNTRY / YEAR OF RELEASE :    UK   /  1987
DESCRIPTION :       Unknown late-'80s UK private-press INDIE-POP / DIY / C86 style 3-track 7" EP from EDEN.
This would have been pressed in very small numbers by the band themselves and I can't find a mention about this record anywhere online but I think they may have been based in Norfolk, (UK) and their other release was 'glorious'.

Have a listen above to a brief soundclip of 'confusion'  (taken from the actual record for sale). The A-side 'Taxi Cab' has extra orchestration and is well produced, (bordering on FELT or 4AD territory?), whereas the b-side has two tracks which are more upbeat jangly-indie-pop sounding. Very hard to find & interesting, lost 'local band' record! Recommended   ...ORIGINAL UK PRIVATE PRESSING
TRACKLISTING :        side A:    taxi cab   side B:   joni / confusion
CONDITION :    Vinyl:   EXCELLENT (few light superficial surface marks only)  In picture sleeve:  EXCELLENT- (light edge wear - see image scan)
