EDDIE SOUTH,WAS A SPECTACULAR AFRICAN AMERICAN JAZZ VIOLINIST.DURING 1932 AND 1933 HE RECORDED A SERIES OF 16 RADIO SHOWS ON EIGHT SIXTEEN INCH DISCS.THESE WERE SPONSORED BY CHELONI SKIN.PROGRAMS INCLUDE SOME OTHER ARTISTS,SOME VOCALS,ETC.

I ASSUME THAT THESE ARE 78RPM BUT SPEED IS NOT MENTIONED ON THE LABELS.

THESE DISCS ARE IN VG OR BETTER CONDITION VISUALLY,TWO OF THEM HAVE HAIRLINE CRACKS THAT HAVE NOT SEPARATED AND A COUPLE HAVE MINOR RIPPLE TYPE WARPING.PLAYING SURFACE DOES NOT LOOK WORN FROM PLAYING AND IS SHINY.

I CAN'T PLAY THESE WITH THE EQUIPMENT I OWN SO I CAN'T STATE THE PLAYBACK QUALITY OF THESE HISTORICAL JAZZ RECORDINGS.
