On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Eclection called 'Eclection' and is a 1968 UK 1st MONO pressing!!!! THIS IS THE VERY 1ST MONO PRESSING - WITH A TEXTURED ELEKTRA LABEL, AND a 1ST PRESS LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' E.J.DAY GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS IS A VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A SUPER RARE 1ST MONO PRESSING OF THIS STUNNING LP!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Elektra UK 1st MONO pressing from 1968 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EKL 74023 on the ORIGINAL 'textured' Elektra Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Eclection at their best!!!! Any fan of Eclection, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep scratches, only a few light hairlines, 1 hairline & scuff mark together and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. However there is a VERY occassional click/pop (though most of the record is silent) - and right at the end of the 4th track on Side 1 and right at the beginning of the next track - there is a few quick clicks/pops from the curious looking scuffmark/hairline mentioned above. Essentially though - this is a GREAT playing record!!!! The record plays TOTALLY silently (crackle wise) - with NO crackle, NO hiss, NO distortion, and CRYSTAL clear sound - and as I said before - only the VERY occassional click/pop in places. The record must grade visually Very Good (Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - though I feel sure most would grade better still!!!! The playing grade is more like Very Good+ if not better!!!! AND REMEMBER THIS RECORD IS MEGA RARE IN MONO!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The MEGA RARE 1st Press Laminated 'Patents Pending' E.J.Day Gatefold Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (apart from VERY slight roughening about half way down - but NOT through the colour), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still flat looking), and NO writing!!!! There is NO major faults to this cover - with NO splits, NO staining, NO rips, NO tears, and NO other damage!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!! This cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP IN MONO!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!!
