THE EASYBEATS - Easy LP (Australian export GREEN/TURQUOISE-SILVER Parlophone MONO PMEO 9484, 1965)
This is mega-rare Australian 1st Press of the great garage/beat debut LP. This is EVEN RARER ISSUE than usual yellow-black Parlophone issue, because it was an EXPORT 1965 pressing for NEW ZEALAND only! That's why it's on greenish/turquoise-silver Parlophone label - very similar to the New Zealand turquoise Parlophone design! THIS IS NOT a later 2nd Press or late 60's reissue, but GENUINE 1965 mega-rare press - ON THE VERY HEAVY (170-180 gram) VINYL with BEAUTIFUL, VINTAGE LABEL DESIGN!!! This label design was never functioned officially in Australia - just for export purposes & under different CATALOGUE NUMBER series 'PMEO'! This is fantastic copy - most probably impossible to upgrade!
Cover: EXCELLENT+ The laminated front is totally fresh and with 100% gloss (NO mattening at all!) - as it was in 1965! The cover inside the pocket was made from pure white paper - which indicated mid-60's press! Absolutely NO edgewears; NO ringwear (on matt white back); NO writings; NO spinewears; the opening edge is razor sharp! The only flaws are 1 crease at the one corners & 2 small wrinkles on laminate! The matt backcover is near perfect! NO HIDDEN FLAWS! Fantastic cover!
Record: MINT- This very heavy vinyl is really in NEAR MINT condition. For a first glance (even under strong light) this is immaculate, unplayed vinyl, but after doublechecking I have found maybe 15-20 tiniest and very short hairlines on each side. NOT 50-60 but 15-20 NON-feelable and NON-hearable surface semi-hairlines. Sorry, but I can not grade that beautiful, 1965 copy as EXCELLENT+ especially when comparing to the usual EX+ records (usually covered with surface marks). This LP was probably removed from the inner less than 5 times! PLAYS NEAR MINT - with absolutely NO distortion or surface noise in MONO grooves! As I said - top copy for the 44 years old LP - most probably impossible to upgrade!
You can bid with confidence – check my feedback, please. My grading system is very strict – with very slight difference between M and EX. As a collector too I perfectly know, what does it mean to buy an overgraded record!!!
All my records (including 7-inches) were cleaned on Clearaudio Matrix machine and are ready to listen – without any disturbing noises or crackles caused by dirt.
