ARTIST: the EASYBEATS -
TITLE: "THE BEST OF THE EASYBEATS + PRETTY GIRL" .
FORMAT: …vinyl LP…
LABEL: Parlophone .
CAT. #: PMCO-7541 .
DATE OF RELEASE: 1966 .
PRESSED IN: Australia .
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING? Almost. The cover is, definitely, in that it doesn't even have the stereo catalogue number below the mono number on the back. But on the 1966 first pressings the album title on the label read "THE BEST OF THE EASYBEATS + PRETTY GIRL", and on this rarer (believe it or not) second pressing in early 1968 it was changed to "THE BEST OF THE EASYBEATS plus PRETTY GIRL".
(I'VE INCLUDED A PIC OF THE LABEL OF THAT EARLIER FIRST PRESSING, JUST FOR COMPARISON'S SAKE...THAT LP IS NOT PART OF THIS AUCTION, OF COURSE.)
So, yes...it's a mono copy with flipback cover...and there's really not too much you can say about this, other than it's jam-packed with garage killers...but you know that of course...

CONDITION:
COVER: (VG+[+])...nice gloss on front cover, one crease at left, some crinkles on the edges...back cover has some relatively minor ringwear, with a light stain at bottom left, and a tear at top left (the word "The" in the album title is affected), and some songs have been underlined in red pen...
VINYL: (VG+[+])...has a series of light marks but nothing heavy and nasty at all...plays very well!...
LABELS: (Side One: EX / Side Two: EX)...just spindle marks, and scuffing at centre hole, are the only blemishes...
