EAST OF EDEN - SNAFU
DERAM LABEL 1970 ORIGINAL FIRST UK MONO PRESSING WITH CLOUT & BAKER FRONT LAMINATED SINGLE SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT PLAYING CONDITION AND EXCELLENT CONDITION SLEEVE.

Released in 1970 on the DERAM label, I am offering today this original first UK mega rare MONO pressing of this superb progressive rock classic album from EAST OF EDEN that is titled "SNAFU". According to the record collector guide this MONO pressing is not meant to exist. The vinyl is overall excellent but has a manufacturing mark on side two which causes a click for several revolutions but absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
The album was produced by David Hitchcock and comes complete with its original Clout & Baker front laminated single sleeve which is in very clean condition, a nice presentable example and it comes with its original red and white company inner sleeve, which is also clean with no stickers and no unwanted writing or splits etc.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays with excellent audio with absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there are a few pops on side two caused by a solitary manufacturing fault.
So rare as a MONO original.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually apart from a solitary mark on side two caused in the manufacturing looks very clean. I have played this through and am pleased to say that it plays through well with excellent MONO audio and absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there was a handful of pops to be heard.
The SLEEVE, The Clout & Baker front laminated single sleeve is very clean with no splits stickers or unwanted writing etc and the spine is fully legible. A very nice example.
The LABELS, The mustard and white labels are very clean, Needless to say there are no stickers, tears or unwanted writing etc.
The INNER, The original red & white Decca MONO company inner is clean and is free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
