On offer is The Lp - Mercator Projected by East of Eden.

1969 Stereo Pressing on the Deram Records Label - SML 1038 - Matrix No's - Zal 8688 - 1W & ZAL 8689 - 1W.

Side 1: Northern hemisphere, Isadora, Waterways, Centaur Woman.

Side 2: Bathers, Communion, Moth, In the stable of the Sphinx.

Vinyl -  Ex - Plays excellent throughout, Side 2 has a couple of very fine hairlines on tk's 3 & 4, they don't seem to affect playback however and it plays excellent throughout with only a few small static tics heard on occasion which is pretty normal on almost all vinyl pressings - no skips or Jumps.

Some small static tics and/or small static crackle is a normal feature of most Vinyl Pressings.  

Sleeve - Vg - Provided in the original sleeve as pictured, it has some light age related wear, light creasing/edge wear, light rubbing on rear etc, also on the rear timings have been written next to the tracks and also a small name written in the bottom corner - See pics.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Please note: A mid range Technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Playback Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.

Record Collector's Grading System.

  1. Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

  2. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

  3. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

  4. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...

  5. Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

  6. Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

  7. Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
