With 16 million copies sold over the past quarter century, "Hotel California" easily, and with comfortable margin, outsold the Beatles' "Red”, “White” and “Blue" albums, Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon", Bee Gees' "Saturday Night Fever" , Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA", every single Led Zeppelin album (except for Led Zep IV), and so many other multi-million platinum-sellers that it's not funny.
