DYNAMIC WALTER B. AND THE NEW BREED BAND
This is a really great deal!!
Auction is for two 45 vinyl records
THE WAY FUNK/SOUTHERN SOUL WAS MEANT TO SOUND
The first record is one of, if not the earliest. It was produced by New Breed Records and recorded at Deep South Studios in Baton Rouge. The address (tried to put a map-quest picture) was 1142 Napoleon Street. I live about 15 minutes north of Baton Rouge and would have never guessed that at one time a this was a recording studio. But I can see how this area would be an inspiration for his music. It is only about three blocks from the Mississippi River and an hour from New Orleans and an area unlike any other. The second record was produced by Playground. I personally think that it the Playground record lacks the passion of the New Breed record. BUT still is in a league all it's on.
