I’M SELLING A BIG PART OF MY 30 YEARS COLLECTION OF 60’s AND 70’s PROG,PSYCH AND FOLK LPs..BOUGHT MOST OF THEM VERY NEAR NEW (MANY OF THEM NEW),ALL HAVE BEEN PROPERLY STORED AND KEPT IN PLASTIC SLEEVES IN A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT AWAY FROM SUNSHINE ALL THESE YEARS-NONE OF THEM HAVE EVER BEEN TO PARTIES OR LENT TO ANYONE ( I NEVER TRUSTED ANYONE WITH MY RECORDS !!) ,MOST OF THEM HAD ONLY A HANDFUL OF PLAYS SINCE I ALWAYS MADE TAPE AND CD COPIES OF MY LPs..I’VE ALWAYS BEEN EXTREMELY PICKY AND FUSSY ABOUT CONDITIONS,SO YOU WON’T FIND ANY ABUSED LP’s HERE WITH NASTY SCRATCHES..

MOST OF THE RECORDS I OFFER THIS TIME HAVE BEEN SITTING DORMANT ( WITHOUT BEING PLAYED) FOR THE LAST 10-15 YEARS SO A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING JOB WOULD MOST CERTAINLY IMPROVE THE SOUND QUALITY – HAVING SAID THAT I MUST ADMIT THAT MOST OF THEM ARE IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION CONSIDERING THE AGE OF THEM AND THE FACT THAT THEY HAVEN’T BEEN PLAYED FOR SUCH A LONG TIME…

I DON’T LIKE USING  POPULAR BUZZWORDS („STUNNING”,”BREATHTAKING”,”IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND”,”FINAL UPGRADE” ETC..)COMMONLY EXERCISED BY SOME „BIG SHOT” UK DEALERS –  I CONSIDER THESE TOTALLY UNNECESSARY...

cover: front-laminated single-sleeve cover printed by Ernest J.day and Co. Ltd., superb  clean EX condition with light creases on the front and three small stained spots on the back…NO edge or wear AT ALL,SMALL amount of wear on two corners  …opening edges are straight and sharp,NO signs of use AT ALL.…spine is nice, square and uncrushed with at least 85% of the  lettering visible and readable…no rips,tears,splits or any other damages....

record,visual:   clean VG+ with light surface marks and two light scratches (track 4 on side A and track 3-4 on side B) ….it still retains its nice black original sheen and  looks nice   !!!

record,audio: VERY GOOD SOUND  QUALITY WITH   CLEAR AND VIBRANT SOUND WITHOUT ANY SINGS OF GROOVEWEAR,WITH  GREAT DELIVERY AND  STEREO IMAGE…SOME LIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE CAN BE DETECTED HERE AND THERE BUT THIS IS NOT INTRUSIVE   (A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING JOB WOULD MOST LIKELY HELP..).. THE TWO LIGHT SCRATCHES PRODUCE SOME LIGHT CLICKS BUT AGAIN THESE ARE NOT OVERWHELMING  …NO DISTORTION,NO SKIPS/JUMPS OR STICKING ..THIS IS NOT A MINT COPY BUT NOT THRASHED EITHER…

labels:   nice and clean  with  many light spindle hole marks..S7-63208 A1 and S7-63208 B1 machine stamped matrix numbers,very first pressing…no tears,stamps or any other damages...

Gradings: I ALWAYS TRY TO DO MY BEST IN GIVING ACCURATE,HONEST AND VERY STRICT GRADINGS BY USING THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

VG ( VERY GOOD)

I ALSO USE  PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.

VINYL WILL FIRST BE INSPECTED VISUALLY VERY CAREFULLY UNDER STRONG LIGHT, THEN WILL BE TESTPLAYED SKIPPING THROUGH EACH TRACK ON BOTH SIDES ( INCLUDING RUN-IN,RUN-OUT GROOVES AND THE SPACES BETWEEN TRACKS ) TO CHECK THE OVERALL PLAYBACK  QUALITY.

ALL TESTPLAYING IS DONE ON TOP QUALITY EQUIPMENT- LINN SONDEK WITH ITTOK TONEARM AND BENZ MICRO GLIDER S MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE,McINTOSH TUBE AMPMS AND AMT ESS HEIL SPEAKERS.

IN THE UNLIKELY CASE THAT YOU SHOULD BE UNHAPPY WITH MY GRADING/DESCRIPTION PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK-I’M SURE THAT WE CAN CLEAR OUT EVERY PROBLEM IN A KIND WAY!

PLEASE NOTE:ALTHOUGH I DIDN’T  HEAR ANY SERIOUS PROBLEMS DURING THE TESTPLAY ON MY SYSTEM AND HAVE GIVEN AN HONEST DESCRIPTION OF THE CONDITION OF THE VINYL,I CAN’T GUARANTEE IT WILL PLAY THE SAME WAY ON YOUR SYSTEM -YOU MIGHT HEAR THE ODD STATICK TICK/POP THAT I DIDN’T !!!

If you expect a factory new record with CD sound, dont bid, look for the CD instead. This means that a M- record is not NEW, it is most likely used but taken exceptional care of that it qualifies as M-.
