Duke Pearson  ' Dedication '  PRESTIGE PRST 7729 (USA) stereo blue label with trident logo on top - rec. in New York City on August 3, 1961 - this is the 1970 first US release of this session originally produced in 1961 by the short-lived Jazz Line label which unfortunately folded before this session was released     Freddie Hubbard : trumpet - Willie Wilson : trombone - Pepper Adams : baritone sax - Duke Pearson : piano - Thomas Howard : bass - Lex Humphries : drums 

• Side 1 :  Minor mishap (Flanagan) - Miss Bertha D. blues (Pearson) - The nearness of you (Washington-Carmichael) - Apothegm (P.Adams)
• Side 2 :  Lex (D.Byrd) - Blues for Alvina (W. & A. Wilson) - Time after time (Styne-Cahn)

Visual grading : record is VG- has light wear. Has few light unfeelable scuffs and some light unfeelable long lines on both sides not affecting the play. Clean labels with light spindle wear Playing grading: record is VG plays well with loud and clear sound. Has few light occasional background noise and some light ticks mostly on side 2   Cover grading : cover is Good+ to VG- has light wear to corners, to spine and a bit more evident to edges. Bottom right corner has been repaired for a short seam split. Has a piece of paper missing on left side top edge (cm.4 or 2"). Also has a small punched hole on top left corner. Light age yellowing on back cover
