Here we have a very rare 1st issue of Duke Ellington's Masterpieces by Ellington album from 1951. This was one of the earlier 12" LPs Columbia had put out and there are very few original pressings of the album out there. The record is in VG+ condition with some surface scratches and scuffs. The record maintains a lot of its original gloss. This is the 1st pressing on the blue Columbia Masterworks label. The cover is in VG condition with some ring wear and edge wear. The original High Fidelity Plus sticker is on the top left hand corner. There are some slight stains on the back cover. Please see all the pictures to determine condition. Overall, this would make a great addition to your jazz collection. This record is being sold as is and as found. Thank you!
