Description
Duke Ellington And His Orchestra – Ellington At Newport 6 eye original
The disc has no scuffs or scratches. Playback with minimal surface noise. Sounds new to be honest. The cover has paper loss on the top corner and staining along the bottom on the back. It also has a pricing sticker on the front. The original poly inner has yellowing and looseness at the opening.
Stored in a poly inner for more than 50 years this time capsule unreservedly sounds great. I played it back with an elliptical needle on a linear tracking turntable. Duke Ellington had lost popularity at this time in his career but with this album he deservedly saw a resurgence in part due to an incredible performance. Returns accepted! Bid with confidence!
