Description
Culture: Culture in dub
Recorded and remixed at Treasure Isle Recording Studio. Released in the UK (probably late seventies)on Sky Note SKY LP 16. The record was produced by the Sonia Pottinger.
This dubelpee contains dubversions of Culture songs Pottinger released late seventies.
Songtitles of sleeve differ from the titles given on the labels of the elpee. Beneath I will mention them both.
This elpee is an original release. It’s not easy to get!
A-side:
Every love dub (Dub shines brightly); Skilful dub (Mixed skillfully); Iron sharp dub (Iron sharpeneth this dub); Tropical dub fever (Tell me were you got the dub)
B-side:
Heavenly dub (Behold this dub); Harder than the rest ( Dub on Mt. Zion); Freedom jam (Dub so free); Deep root dub (Vacancy dub)
Record is in Very Good+ condition. At some spots you can hear that it has been played before, but the sound is absolutely not troublesome. The only exception is the start of the first track (some seconds) of side two. This could be a lot better, but this only lasts for some seconds.
The cover has a laminated front sleeve. The front sleeve is in very good ++ condition. But there is a blot at the left upper corner of the back sleeve. Probably the cover has made contact with water sometime. See for yourself.
On the picture the colour of the front sleeve is brown, in reality it's black and white. Sorry.
(see grading system and image of sleeve and label below)

RECORD COLLECTOR’S GRADING SYSTEM
MINT (M)The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioriation in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Recods advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX)The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing
VERY GOOD (VG)The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surfacemarks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G)The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some destortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F)The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surfacenoise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or defaced.
POOR (P)The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B)The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler.
