Description
I've been collecting records for 38 years. It's time to start selling some.
Up for bid is an OUTRAGEOUSLY RARE 45 rpm 7" single from 1986 on Plot Records(002). Next to impossible to find CANADA ONLY psych/hardcore/electronic/avant-garde 45 from Dry Heeves. The following is a biography:
"Hailing from Meat Cove, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, the Dry Heeves are cultural analysts who use music as their dissemination medium of choice. Their meditatively eccentric compositions can be overwhelming at first; but once assimilated, they become invigorating, cleansing, genuinely hilarious and frequently gratifying. Shifting from rock to pop, to tribal, to metal, to ambient, to noise and to full-blown electronica, the Dry Heeves take the listener on a bizarre journey that is laughable, disturbing, and strange."
Some info about the record from the Dry Heeves themselves:
"500 copies were pressed, but only half ever made it to record stores, radio stations and magazines. The rest were accidentally destroyed when the original drummer's mother threw them out after a flood in their basement. We only have two copies ourselves of the single on vinyl. If you have a copy, consider yourself quite lucky."
The labels are clean(both sides). The a-side vinyl is VG with one scratch(no skips) and some scuffs/hairlines that also do not affect play. The b-side is VG+ with some scuffs/hairlines(play not affected). Overall, the grade is a Strong VG.
Shipping is 4.00 in Canada. To the US is 5.00. Worldwide varies. I can't ship to Italy.
