ONE PREVIOUS OWNER WHO LOVING TOOK CARE OF THIS JEWEL.

OFTEN TIMES I WILL REMOVE LABELS FROM PREVIOUS OWNERS BUT THIS TIME I THINK IT ADDS TO THE RECORD HISTORY.  IT WAS BOUGHT BACK IN 1968 AND WAS CARED FOR BETTER THAN 99% OF PURCHASED AND PLAYED RECORDS.  THE OWNER LOVED THE RECORD SO MUCH SHE PUT HER INFORMATION ON IT SO AS TO SAFEGUARD THE RECORD.

Below is the story and description of this record: 

A real garage sale find.  Yep they are out there you just gotta get up and do it. 

Well sometimes I get lucky.  

A friend called me and said his parents were having their anual garage sale and a neighbor had brout over some records and asked if I wanted to look.  Well I said after my poker game in maybe 2 hours!  He said OK so after I finished "In The Money" after almost 2 hours I headed over to his parents house.  Well found some nice records then I came to this  one.  I got all jittery and he said "Oh is that a GOOD ONE?"  Without even knowing anything about the record I said well  lets look at the record!  It was a gatefold record and I mentioned that the small label with some writing on the inside cover, that worried me!  The other records had alot of writing on the record labels by permanent marker and return address style labels (the labels didn't worry me so much as the permanent marker). 

Well whenI began to take the record out it looked amazing clean as could be hoped. Then I turned it over to find a phone number written in ball point pen and scratched out on the other side.  A  bit saddened by this discovery I was still very happy with the record.  I knew I had something special and when I did some research later I was very happy to have found the record.

Record plays NEAR MINT and looks NM- and is as described above..............

OH AND BTW MY FRIEND THOUGHT THAT THE RECORD LOOKED TOO NEW WHEN HE WAS GOING THROUGH ALL THE RECORDS THE NEIGHBOR LADY HAD BROUGHT OVER.  HE TOLD ME HE SAW A DATE OF '08 ON THE COVER SO HE HAD NOT LOOKED IT UP ON THE INTERNET.  WELL IT WAS IN THE PICTURE ONLY IT WAS FOR THE GADGET THAT SAID "PATED (OR DATED) JUNE , 6 08; WHICH I BELEIVE MEANT JUNE 6, 1908.   THAT REMINDS ME THAT I AM HAPPY TO FOLLOW OTHER COLLECTORS WHILE GOING THROUGH TONS OF RECORDS AS I WILL OFTEN GET THE REAL GEMS WHEN THEY GET EXCITED ABOUT SOME AVERAGE LOOKING GEMS AND I'M GLAD WHEN THEY DO FIND REAL GEMS BECAUSE I HAVE SO MANY RECORDS ALREADY.  SO NOW I NEED TO CLEAR SOME STUFF OUT PLEASE WATCH MY AUCTIONS AS FROM TIME TO TIME I WILL SLIP IN A GEM FOR CHEAP.

 Record cover externally looks VG++ with the inside of the cover having just some writing and a label on the upper left hand side.

Also label very easily removed but I leave that to you and ask me how I would remove it if you are concerned!

The sad thing is I can only leave BAD Ebayers neutral or positive feedback while you can leave me negative feedback and there is little I can do to try and get it removed as any seller that has received Negative Feedback can atest too. Please do not worry see most of my feedback as it atests to how I treat bidders and the negatives from the rotten apples on ebay!  As you can see I heve given full refunds and still received negative feedback as well as refunding up to 80% (and the bidder got to keep the $500 tuner ($200 dollar refund out of $250)) and got negative feedback and all I can do is neutral  feedback to them is that FAIR?.  Please see my replys to my negative feedback as I have responded as best I can to them.  If you are a scammer please by pass my auctions and save us both a lot of problems!    THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!!!!!!!

Dragonfly was actually a band called The Legend whose debut album was somewhat butchered by their record company. So they decided to pursue other interests. Under a different name (association with that Legend album wasn't gonna happen), they recorded this. They didn't have the best sound quality (crackles and pops still cover the sound on CD), but they had enough technology to mess around. Throughout this album, the track suddenly jumps into backward recording, slows down suddenly, or dissipates altogether. The boys explode into ridiculous giggles, get wasted by a moaning trombone, and turn into a giant rolling ball of mung at the end before returning to form. Along the way, we have some good songs. "Blue Monday" opens the album with a moan of "Oooh my God.." then harsh chords, before rhythm guitarist Gene cracks his throat in anger. "Enjoy Yourself" is bouncy, thoughtful psychedelia, "Crazy Woman" sounds very 60s and somewhat Moby Grape. "To Be Free" is a good bit of yearning and hope: the classic 60s message. There's just all kinds of good stuff here. The drums are fierce and the fuzz-toned lead guitar is excellent. There's some heavy solos on this album. Great performing. Gene's vocals sometimes sound like Keith Relf of the Yardbirds and sometimes like Jack Bruce of Cream. It's forgotten, and that's a pity. Take an acid trip ito the good ol' days of heavy psychedelic hard rock. It'll blow you away.

Also for all you Nirvana lovers something very errie sounds like Curt (or maybe he was influenced by this record) to me at least on several songs on side B.
