 **********************************************************************************************************     VINYL GRADING      Excellent - better than vg+.  Includes mint, mint- and vg++.  These records should play like new or very                close to it.     vg+   Nice shiny record that will have a couple to a few light faint surface defects like paper scuffs and            light scratches not likely to effect sound.  These records should play like new, close to like new or            with occasional intermittent surface noise.  These should be very clean sounding play copies satisfying          most listeners except those who expect perfection.   vg    These range from near vg+ to well used with a plethora of surface flaws to a new record with a long           scratch likely to sound. These will play through, possibly with continuous surface noise and occasional          repetitive ticks.  Records that are close to vg+ may  be listed as "nice vg" - should be a very clean sounding          play copy.  Other vg records will be nice play copies for those who can live with background noise and          occasional ticks.  Vg records will not have deep scratches though they may have short scratches that might sound.   vg- -  A record that looks like it will be noisy.  I will play these to make sure they don't jump or skip            before listing at this grade.  A new record with a long repetitive tick will make this grade.   damaged -  a record that skips, jumps or otherwise doesn't play on my system.
