This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Donald Byrd “Byrd in Hand” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4019. The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated West 63rd cover is bright land clean throughout; lamination lifting/flaking along a ¼” margin of the opening.
