"Byrd's Eye View" -- Very nice original copy of mega-rare, early Donald Byrd LP on Transition Records. Comes with the hard-to-find original booklet. Both labels are still attached, and the LP has a flat edge and minimal wear. Cover: Front image is very clean, with some minor age browning at the edges. The seams are intact, except for a one-inch split at the top right, and have some rubbing and loss of surface. There is a small loss of surface near the bottom of the back cover. Booklet: Fine, close to new condition. Labels: Both have minumal wear and are still attached to the LP. LP: Side One -- Has a few hairlines, which cause some intermittant pops/clicks. This is mostly evident at the very beginning of track one, and soon fades. While there are other pops/clicks, they rarely overwhelm the music. Side Two -- Clicks/pops in the lead-in, continuing into the intial part of track one, which continues with intermittant clicks/pops that do not overwhelm the music. The rest of side two has minimal clicks/pops. IMPORTANT: For all bidders, tracking is required, and WE WILL NOT SHIP THIS ITEM MEDIA MAIL.
