Description

Both label have 47 West 63rd, NYC address; same address at the bottom of the back cover. Deep groove. The record has "RVG" and the "ear" inscribed in the deade wax on both sides. 6 tracks with leader, Donald Byrd, trumpet; Charlie Rouse, tenor sax; Pepper Adamsw, baritone sax; Walter Davis, Jr., piano; Sam Jones, bass; Art Taylor, drums.

Cover: Good + 1" split on the top edge; 10" split on the spine. Some paper loss, mainly on the spine. Light aging on the back cover.

Recordf: VG+ to VG++ Visually shows no wear except for 2 small scratch marks at the beginning of Track 1, Side 2. There are several very light, brush-like surfacr rub marks on both sides. These are barely visible and do not affect the sound. There are a few, extremely light, clicks on Track 1, Side 1. On track 1, Side 2 there are several clicks over the first 20% of the track that correspond to the scratch marks described above. The balance of Side 2 has no noise. Fine overall quality with the noise described. Audibly checked.
